Join author Troy Taylor for another night of our “An Evening with…” series of events! This eerie evening will include a catered dinner, served in our private ballroom at the former hotel. After dinner, Troy Taylor will be presenting an “Evening of American Monsters,” a night that reveals that there may be more out there lurking in the woods than you can possibly imagine.
For centuries, we have marveled at the strange, the bizarre, and the mysterious. From the earliest days of American maps, mystery spots were given names that were linked to the Devil and blank spaces were often filled with illustrations of monsters, dragons, and fearsome creatures that couldn’t possibly exist – and yet, what if they did?
From the beginning of America’s recorded history, settlers, pioneers, now modern-day residents have claimed to have encounters with monsters – Bigfoot, Mothman, Mo-Mo the Monster, the Jersey Devil, Thunderbirds, the Hopkinsville Goblins, and many others. It seems hard to believe that such creatures could be lurking out there in the woods and fields of present-day America and yet, what if they are?
