Join author Troy Taylor for another night of our “An Evening with…” series of events! This eerie night will include a catered dinner at the American Oddities Museum! After dinner, author Troy Taylor will be presenting "America's Murder Houses," where the spirits of the past still linger. Go behind the locked doors of both famous and little-known places where murder, violence, and brutal events have left a mark on the places where they happened!
America has a long and violent history, and in years past, the majority of people died at home, and far too many of them died at the hands of someone else — a killer, a burglar, a thief, or worse, a loved one. And, as anyone with an interest in ghosts knows, places where tragic and violent events occur are more likely to become haunted than other places, especially homes.
On this unsettling night, Troy will take you in search of houses where such tragedies occurred and where those incidents left a lingering haunting behind. We’ve all heard the stories — footsteps that walk up and down hallways and staircases, lights that turn on and off, doors that open and close, and more. But what about the stories behind those stories — the ones filled with homicides, horror, murder, and mayhem? This is one of the most chilling events we’ve ever offered, so you don’t want to miss it!

- Private Event in the American Oddities Museum, which will open at 6:00 Pm for browsing by guests before dinner
- American Hauntings Bookstore located in the Museum so books will be available for purchase and can be autographed by Troy Taylor
