Join author Troy Taylor for another night of our “An Evening with…” series of events! This eerie evening will include a catered dinner, served in a private ballroom at the hotel. After dinner, author Troy Taylor will be celebrating Mardi Gras season with you as he presents “An Evening in Haunted New Orleans,” the history, hauntings, legends, lore, spirits, scandals and sins of the most haunted city in America!

Journey back in time and discover the haunted history of New Orleans, from its founding as a French colony to modern times! Discover the myriad of legends and ghost stories that have taken root in the French Quarter and across the city – from haunted houses to spirit-infested hotels, bars, buildings, and more!

You don’t want to miss this spooky – and seasonal -- night of history and hauntings!

We’ll be looking out for your health at all our dinner events so we can make sure that everyone is safe, we can maintain social distance, and have a really great time! 

- All events held at the Best Western Premier Hotel Located at 3559 College Avenue in Alton, Illinois 
- Limited number of guests for each event
- Private ballroom for use for our event only
- Upgraded sanitary conditions for serving and dining 

- We do require that you wear a mask to the event, but obviously, you won't be wearing one when eating and drinking. We're not going to be kicking people out if they take it off, but we do require that you maintain your social distance. But please know, this is a very large space that we are working with and our group size will be under mandated state health official guidelines.

There is no city in America that is as haunted as New Orleans. It is a city that was built with blood, mud, and river water and has been home to more killers, pirates, and thieves than just about any other place in the country – and its three centuries in existence has left more than its share of ghosts and spirits behind.

There are more ghosts and ghost stories in New Orleans than there are iron balconies in the French Quarter and this evening event will give you a taste of the most infamous tales that are still being told in the city, including:
